Seminar Details IT innovations may have increased mobility in our work-styles but the fact is we still spend a significant proportion of our working lives at our desks and in the physical workplace. The recent survey carried out by The Office Exhibition has shown that almost 90% percent of office workers believe the design and layout of their office affects their level of motivation, yet 50% have never had an ergonomic assessment.
Ergonomics is all about optimising our physical, cognitive and organisational relationships within our physical environment. In this presentation, Nick will focus on how we connect to and interact with our workspace, furniture and equipment. He will discuss how we can enhance our comfort, health and well-being and give practical guidance on designing a space that meets peoples’ needs and supports our various work tasks.
